Overview
This 7 days trip takes you to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable and Lake Mburo National parks in western Uganda. Queen Elizabeth the medley of wonders and Lake Mburo are savannah parks that will reward you with different animals like elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, and many antelope species, buffalos among others and Kibale and Bwindi impenetrable National parks are primate parks where you will be able to see chimpanzee, monkeys and gorillas respectively.
Highlights
Day 1: pick up and transfer to Kibale National park
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park
Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park
Day 5: Gorilla trekking and cultural encounter.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park and Evening game drive.
Day 7: Morning game drive, and return to Kampala.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport/ hotel to Kibale National park.
Upon your arrival at the airport you will be picked by our company representative who will later transfer you to Kibale National park the primate capital in the world in western Uganda. Stopover in Fort Portal for lunch and proceed. Dinner and overnight stay at primate lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Transfer to queen Elizabeth National park.
After your morning breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides then walk into the forest in search of these human cousins that are said to be the closed relatives of humans with 99% human DNA. The experience allows you to see other primate species like vervet monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, red tailed monkeys among others and many bird species. On encounter with the chimpanzees, you are allowed one hour in their presence for photography and videos then return to your lodge for lunch. After your delicious lunch, drive via Fort portal, Kasese to Queen Elizabeth National park. Dinner and overnight at Elephant plains lodge.
Day 3: Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat cruise.

Take your cup of coffee and set off for a game drive towards the northern part of the park to Kasenyi plains where you will see many wild animals like elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, lions, antelope species among others and many savannah bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation, and later go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. The breath taking moments on the boat allows you to see many water loving animals like crocodiles, hippos that live in the waters and the elephants, buffaloes and many water birds that comes on the shores of Kazinga channel. Dinner and over at Elephant plains lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National park.
Have your breakfast and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park south wards through Ishasha sector where you will be able to spot the rare tree climbing lions in Uganda and in the whole word as they sleep lazily in the fig trees. Look around for many other wild animals like elephants, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes and many more as you head to Bwindi. Dinner and overnight at Silver back lodge.
Day 5: Gorilla trekking and Cultural experiences.
With your packed lunch and trekking gears, drive to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides on the dos and don’ts about gorillas. Later set off to the Impenetrable forest in search for the endangered species in their natural habitats. Feel the thrilling moments with nature as you hear the beautiful melodies and sounds from the forest birds. On encounter with the gorillas you are allowed to only one hour in their presence for observations, photography and videos with them as you quit the forest back to your lodge for relaxation. In the evening take a walk to the local communities around like the Batwa community and enjoy the Batwa experiences where they entertain you with the cultural dances, storytelling on how the lived in the forests, hunting styles among others. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park and Evening game drive.

Early in the morning after your breakfast, set off to Lake Mburo National park via Kabale, Mbarara, and stopover at Agip Motel for lunch then proceed to Lake Mburo National park. Check in and go for a game drive where you will see a number of wild animals including zebras, giraffes, impalas, hyenas, leopards and many others depending on what nature offers. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge.
Day 7: Morning game drive, and transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe airport.
Very early in the morning set off for the game drive to catch up with the early morning risers as they come out to look for food. Enjoy the whispers of the wild as they present to you many more other wild animals like buffalos , sitatungas, impalas, Elands, duikers, bush pigs, warthogs, many bird species among others. Drive back the lodge for your late breakfast as you embark on the journey back to kampala/ Entebbe airport, stopover at the equator for photography and last shopping and proceed to airport for your flight back to your next destination.
