OVERVIEW.

QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK is located in western part of Uganda in kasese district. It was initially known as kazinga national park. It is famous for its volcanic features including the volcanic cones and deep crater lakes such as lake katwe from which salt is extracted. It is popular for its savannah reserve and has widest variety of wildlife. The variety of habitant includes grass lands, savannah, forest, wetland and lakes. Animals in this park include warthogs, Uganda kobs, water buck, tree climbing lions, buffaloes, leopards.

On this adventure, you will experience the scenic views of the outstanding nature and landscapes, as you will be engaged in the game drive in Kasenyi plains, a habitant for a number animals, like the antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants and many others.  You will also be able to do the boat cruise giving you a chance to see and enjoy the great view of the wild residents like the hippos, crocodiles, and a number of water birds.

Begin the day the way nature has intended, to the crackdown of the wonderful nature, giving you the glimpse, moments and the most innovative environmental treatment.

DETAILED ITINERARY.

DAY1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park which is approximately 6-8 hours driving with en-route lunch in mbarara. If time and nature allows you will go for a game drive in the northern crater areas where there is a lot of dark holes, you will stand a chance to observe elephants, water buck, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, leopards if nature allows. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi game lodge.

DAY2: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE.

After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi area, here you will stand a chance to observe a lot of antelope species, like water bucks, Uganda Kobs and other animals like lions, buffaloes, warthogs, leopards, elephants. This game drive will take 3-5hours. You will as well observe the beautiful landscapes that will always attract your eyes giving you a glimpse moments.  Return to lodge for refreshment and lunch and after you will go for the afternoon boat cruise at kazinga channel famous for its highest number of  hippopotamus. You will also spot buffaloes crocodiles, and elephants. As they drink water refreshing themselves, as they also swim into the water, you will be able to see a number of water birds including African-pied-kingfishers, pigmy-kingfishers, hadada ibis, African fish eagle, and many others.  Return the lodge for dinner and overnight at Enganzi game lodge.

DAY3: RETURN BACK TO KAMPALA.

After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Kampala with en-route lunch in mbarara town.
