OVERVIEW OF THE SAFARI

This safari takes you to queen elizabeth national park and bwindi national park where you will encounter a number of wild residents, including wildlife, gorillas and many others.

This trip gives you an opportunity to experience and explore the beautiful medley of wonders in this most visited wildlife safari park in Uganda, start the day the way nature intended at the crack of dawn to see the wild residents emerge for a drink from the bushy waterholes as the sun begins to rise over the iconic bush veld scenery.
This trip engages all your senses when you combine it with Ultimate Gorilla Tracking experience in Bwindi as a Highlight for the Best of Uganda Ultimate Primate safari.

Day 1 Drive from kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi

Receive warm welcome and greetings from our driver guide as he picks you, he will then let you start your journey from kampala or entebbe international airport.
You will drive through kampala city, one of the 24/7 busy cities in africa, you will then take the western route and you will have your first stopover at the Equator crossing point, thereafter continue to Igongo cultural center in mbarara where you will have your lunch from.
Then after lunch, you proceed as you drive through the bushenyi district as you are rewarded with the great view of the beautiful tea plantations.
You will continue to Bwindi and this will be in the evening, you will checkin from the hotel and then have your dinner and overnight as you wait for the second day full of fan to track the gorillas.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After Early Morning Breakfast drive to Gorilla tracking Briefing Point along with your packed lunch after briefing set off to meet the Beautiful giants. After tracking drive back to the lodge and have your time and relax as you enjoy the perfect view of Bwindi impenetrable forest, enjoy the balcony view of the forest from your room or on your private patio just outside at the shade besides the restaurant and the Beautiful giants in the forest enjoy the time with these closest giants to human.
This will be considered as the highlight day if the tour for the beautiful and rewarding activities it has for you like gorilla tracking.
Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat Cruise

After early morning breakfast, you will after this beautiful tour starts your journey to queen Elizabeth national park, you drive through the good, snake like roads and beautiful southwestern part of uganda, as you see the Long horned Ankole cows.
The beautiful and recreating cultures of Banyankore will also add on the beautifulness of this tour. You will reach in queen Elzabeth in fours hours and check in from the hotel.
Later in the afternoon, we will have about cruise along Kazinga channel which offers variety of birds with huge elephants, buffalo and hippopotamus crocodiles in water and in the banks of the lake.
This will take us 3 hours while viewing some water birds like Grey-crowned crane, Field Kingfisher, African Fish Eagle, Egyptian Goose, Swamp Fly catcher, African Skimmer, African Spoonbill and many others.
You will then drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight,

Day 4: Morning Game drive (combined with birding) and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After an early breakfast, we will head for an early game drive in search of animals like lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants antelopes, warthogs (pumba), and other mammals and birds.
We will try out to drive along Queen’s mile and Kasenyi trial inorder to see different animals and birds like laughing dove, long- crested Eagle, White- tailed, Lark, Grey Kestrel, Martial Eagle, Hooded vulture, sitting cisticola, Rufous- raped Lark, Grey-headed Kingfisher, pin-tailed Whydah, African mourning Dove, Red-chested sunbird, Black-winged kite,
Along Kasenyi trial we will have a chance of viewing climbing lions then later we head for lunch at the Lodge.
Later in the afternoon, we will have about cruise along Kazinga channel which offers variety of birds with huge elephants, buffalo and hippopotamus and many others, in water and in the banks of the lake.

Then you will have your dinner and overnight at Engiri Safari Lodge

Day 5: Morning Breakfast and transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, we will drive to Kampala then stop at Igongo cultural for lunch and visit the Igongo Museum which can take us an hour of visit then the cultural village that will show us the traditional living of people in Western Uganda. Then proceed to Kampala later.
